CAN I HAVE A STALL AT THE MARKETS OR BRING MY FOOD VAN TO SERVE FOOD?
If you are keen to be a food vendor or market stall, we ask that you fill in the VENDOR form under applications on the Baralaba Bash website. We'll be in contact with you in due course.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR MARKET STALL OR FOOD VENDOR SITE?
Sites are free, however we do ask that you book your own camping (powered/unpowered site or glamping tent) as required. Two adult armbands will be issued per food van/market stall. Any additional attendees with your food van/market stall will require you to purchase an Adult General Admission ticket per person to the festival.
WHERE ARE THE CAMPING GROUNDS?
Powered camping sites are at the Baralaba Historical Village approximately 400m from the Main Stage area and approximately 200m from the Street Party area. Unpowered sites are at the Baralaba Showgrounds approximately 200m from the Main Stage area, and 500m from the Street Party precinct. Glamping tents are on the Baralaba School Oval, approximately 500m from the Main Stage, and 300m from the Street Party precinct.
WHERE IS THE STREET PARTY
FRIDAY NIGHT?
The Stopford Street Stage and Street Party precinct are outside the Baralaba Hotel (Stopford Street). You can’t miss it!
WHERE IS THE MAIN STAGE?
At the Baralaba Football field, adjacent to
the Showgrounds.
IS CASH OR CARD BEST FOR PAYMENTS DURING THE WEEKEND?
Cash is best for bar purchases and the community-hosted breakfasts/lunches etc, and for ease at the mobile bar. There are ATMs in town but with the large influx of people in the small town bringing cash with you will ensure you’re all set.
CAN WE BRING A CHAIR?
Yes! BYO camping chair and/or picnic rugs.
VIP tickets include a chair within the VIP area at the football grounds.
CAN I BRING AN ESKY?
The Baralaba Bash Street Party and Main Stage Saturday night are licenced events. You cannot BYO alcohol into those areas. You can keep an esky in the camp grounds.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD?
Absolutely. You can bring your own food in bags, however BYO alcohol and eskys are not permitted at the Main Stage Precinct .
CAN I BUY A TICKET AT THE GATE FRIDAY OR SATURDAY?
No - please prebook your ticket online here by following the links to the ticketing page. You’ll need to show your emailed ticket upon entry. You’ll get a wristband at the gate. Have your ID ready to be checked upon entry to get an “ID checked” wristband for purchasing alcohol at the bar.
WHAT TIME DO GATES OPEN SATURDAY TO THE MAIN STAGE?
Gates open 2.30pm with music kicking off
at 3pm.
WHAT FOOD OPTIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE?
Local community groups will be hosting breaky/lunch/smoko at various spots in Baralaba. Food vans will also be attending. The Baralaba Foodworks will be open during the weekend. Baralaba Hotel will be doing meals as usual and the Baralaba Cafe will be open too.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Pets are allowed leashed in the camp grounds and of course in the public spaces but we can’t have animals in the Main Stage area Saturday night. We really appreciate your understanding with this.
IS THERE ANY BARALABA BASH MERCH?
Yes! Merchandise will be available on the website prior and for sale over the weekend. Artists will have their merchandise for sale too.
HOW MUCH WILL RIDES COST AND WHEN WILL THEY BE OPERATING?
All rides are free for ticket holders to the Baralaba Bash. Children must have their own ticket to the Baralaba Bash which are free of charge.
Carnival rides will be operating from Friday afternoon and will operate during the Friday night Street Party, Saturday Street Festival and Sunday morning.
